Over the past 50 years, R.H. Webb Forest Preserve has applied sustainable forestry practices on all of its properties in Sunapee, New London, Springfield, and Wilmot. Richard H Webb was instrumental in putting all owned forest land under conservation easement by the early 2000’s. Many of the properties have extensive trail systems open to public use as part of a program to inform people about responsible forestry practices.
