Maple Mustard Vinaigrette Dressing
A family favorite! We love this simple HHF maple dressing on summer salads, its delicious with just greens alone if you don’t have much for toppings. I also sometimes throw it together for a steak tip marinade in a pinch. It has simple ingredients, but you of course need some Harding Hill Farm maple syrup on hand!
Ingredients:
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil, avocado oil, or canola oil (take your pick!)
1/4 cup Dark HHF Maple Syrup
1 tsp Dijon Mustard (our favorite is VT made Tangy Maple Mustard)
1 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar (or more to taste)
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Optional - try finely chopped garlic or scallions, especially when used as a marinade
Directions:
Add all ingredients except oil to a small bowl and whisk vigorously. Slowly add oil and whisk. Add up to 1/4 cup of oil, but give it a taste along the way to be sure you don't get too much oil flavor. Enjoy!
